It's that time of year! Ready for a great 4th? Here's how you can enjoy fireworks displays around Jax!

Duval County 

 July 4 | 9:00 PM

Jacksonville's 4th of July Fireworks Celebration 

Jacksonville’s Fourth of July Fireworks Celebration will return this year at multiple locations to celebrate the nation’s independence. At each location, the City of Jacksonville is offering a spectacular fireworks display that will begin at 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 4, 2024.
 
Fireworks will be launched from the following locations throughout various communities:

Downtown Jacksonville

Ray Greene Park (park will be closed for the launch)

The Avenues Mall

Trinity Baptist Church

Ed Austin Regional Park


Riverside 

 July 4 | 6:00 PM

Celebrate the Fourth of July at Riverside Arts Market

"We've got you covered all summer long with hot events including our special event - Fourth of July!! On this day, we'll be out Under the Bridge on Thursday, July 4 from 6-10 pm celebrating with the rest of the City to enjoy the day as we wait to watch the City of Jacksonville fireworks show over Downtown at 9:00 pm. Think of this event as a small more intimate version of RAM as we host an array of Food Trucks, Live Music, and dance the night away."

Jacksonville Beach

 July 4 | 9:00 PM

Jacksonville's 4th of July Fireworks Celebration 

"Join us in Jacksonville Beach for an amazing display of fireworks to celebrate the 4th of July!

Fireworks will be launching from the pier at 9 PM with a "test" shot at 8:45.

The 4th of July at the beaches is always incredibly busy - be sure to plan accordingly with your family and friends, stay safe, and have fun!"

St Johns County 

July 4 | 6:00PM

Fireworks Over the Matanzas

"The event begins at 6:00 p.m. in the Plaza de la Constitución in the heart of St. Augustine's Historic District — with a two-hour live music concert, featuring the All-Star Orchestra. At 9:30 p.m. the sky lights up with a spectacular fireworks display over the historic bayfront and the Castillo de San Marcos. "Fireworks Over the Matanzas" is one of the biggest and best fireworks displays on the East Coast, featuring 5,000 individual shells exploding as high as 2,000 feet and as low as 100 feet. The evening starts at 6:00 p.m. at the Plaza de la Constitución. The popular All-Star Orchestra performs a two-hour big band and swing music show including patriotic favorites. The concert is free and open to the public - visitors are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets for seating.

Fireworks begin at 9:30 PM at St. Augustine's historic district. The best viewing points are on the Bridge of Lions and at the Castillo de San Marcos. (Road closures from 8-11 PM). "

American Pride 4th of July

"This FREE community event is held annually on the banks of the St. John’s River and features a Kids Zone with wet & dry fun, live music, food trucks, fireworks, and fun for the whole family!"

6:00  Live entertainment by Bold City Classics begins
9:15  Fireworks at dusk

Free parking is available at Moosehaven. Please enter through the ‘Old Main Gate’ located off Park Ave.

Nassau County 

 July 4 | 9:00 PM 

Hometown 4th of July Fireworks

"Experience the charm of historic downtown Fernandina Beach at the Hometown 4th of July celebration. From 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., join Light Up Amelia, the City of Fernandina Beach, and Florida Public Utilities for an evening filled with your favorite food trucks, sweet treats, and local vendors. And of course, no Fourth of July celebration is complete without fireworks! Catch the dazzling display at approximately 9:00 p.m. It’s the perfect way to celebrate America’s birthday."

Light Up The Sky Independence Day Celebration 

"Join the communities of Hilliard, Callahan, and Nassau County Bicentennial for an unforgettable 4th of July Celebration at the Northeast Florida Fairgrounds. Gates open at 4 p.m., with live music kicking off at 4:30 p.m. Get ready for an afternoon/evening packed with fun activities including food vendors, carnival games and contests like the pie bake-off, watermelon eating, and patriot dress. 

The highlight of the night? A spectacular fireworks display lighting up the sky at 9 p.m. It’s an old-fashioned 4th the whole family will love! The Town of Hilliard, the Town of Callahan, Nassau County Bicentennial along with the Northeast Fl. Fairgrounds present the Independence Day Fireworks Display on July 4th. Bring your chairs or blankets to enjoy the patriotic show on the midway. This is sure to be a good time for the whole family."
