A Historic Treasure: Carmen Godwin Helps Longtime Friends Sell a Unique Riverside Bungalow

Selling a home is always a deeply personal experience, and when Carmen Godwin’s friends decided to move out of state for new job opportunities, they entrusted her with the sale of their beloved Riverside bungalow. With its rich history and charming features, the home deserved a thoughtful approach, and Carmen was determined to make the process smooth and successful for her clients.

Preparing a Home That Welcomes Buyers

The sellers’ biggest concern was ensuring their home felt warm and inviting to potential buyers. Carmen stepped in with expert guidance, advising them on pre-listing tasks and connecting them with trusted vendors to complete necessary updates. She also personally helped stage the home, highlighting its best features to ensure it looked its absolute best when it hit the market.

Navigating a Shifting Market

Selling in today’s evolving real estate market requires adaptability, and Carmen was ready to meet the challenge. She worked closely with the buyer’s agent to problem-solve any concerns that arose during the transaction, ensuring a seamless experience for both parties.

Showcasing a Historic Gem

This bungalow was no ordinary home—it was originally the parsonage for the church and featured a stunning bank of windows in the living room, along with many original historical details. Its unique character made it a standout property, and Carmen ensured these features were highlighted throughout the selling process.

A Trust Built Over Time

The sellers chose Carmen because of a longstanding friendship and trust in her abilities. Having worked together on previous property sales and community projects, they knew Carmen’s work ethic, problem-solving skills, and negotiation expertise would shine through. In the end, she secured a cash offer for their special home, giving them the confidence to take the next step in their journey.
